egs Grid Operator Days 2024 – A complete success!
Over the last two days, we successfully held our annual customer event, the egs Grid Operator Days 2024. It were two exciting and productive days full of informative presentations, workshops and valuable networking!
On 11 and 12 September, we welcomed numerous participants to discuss current topics relating to grid operation and our grid platform. A particular focus was on the modular architecture of our grid platform, thanks to which the future challenges of grid management, e.g. in low voltage, can be successfully mastered.
There were a number of interesting presentations on the functionalities of our grid platform, e.g:
- Congestion view of the grid platform
- Process monitoring in the grid platform
- Forecasted grid status: CGMES exporter for GLDPM processes
- Presentation of NEMSy, our low-voltage congestion management system
NEMSy offers the flexibility that grid operators need to fulfil the requirements of §14a, for example. NEMSy benefits from our grid platform, which is customised to the needs of the grid operator.
In addition to the informative lectures, our customers also had the opportunity to discuss their feature requests for the grid platform of the future in two workshops. One of the desired topics of the workshops was congestion management in low voltage. Everyone was able to gain important insights from the exchange.
